A 26” touch screen has been built in a panel measuring 2330 mm by 2290 mm, embedding 66 parquet floor samples integrated as switches. Employing those samples offers the possibility to display all floors in one of the 11 rooms of choice on the touch screen. Tapping the same floor more than once causes a 90° change of setting direction. 3 rooms can be selected in 4 different perspectives. Consequently 20 perspectives were provided with 56 different floors in 2 setting directions. The whole spectrum of parquet floor colors can also be configured via the touch screen. Furthermore the user can choose between 28 wall colors in order to adapt the ambience of the room to the selected floor. The parquet floor configurator is a wonderful tool which enables the user to test his interior design skills and to try out his personal ideas in a playful way. So far 2 different options of installing the parquet floor configurator have been taken into consideration. One option is the free standing version measuring 600 mm in depth. The other one is a wall display with 200 mm depth.
